Welcome
The warmest of welcomes is extended to all within a homely
atmosphere of a 400 year old English Country Pub.
The Peakstones was originally the “Gate Keepers Lodge” of
the Alton Towers Estate which, at the time, was owned by the
Earl of Shrewsbury.
There have since been additions complementing the existing
building, a lounge and a “Themed” Restaurant called “The
Piggery and Friends”, so named as at one time the pub was also
a Pig Farm. (Our resident ghosts are another story!)
Children are welcome throughout the restaurant, lounge and
bar areas.
We are situated approximately 5 minutes drive from the
Alton Towers Theme Park. |
